The lastest independent production from Apocalypse Pictures and Writer/Director Bryce Lemon. Primal/Ethereal is a challenging yet open look into the natural state of human relationships. Embracing a poetic and emotionally honest style of storytelling, it follows in the vein of great existential and coming of age films such as Y Tu Mama Tambien, L'Avventura, and The Dreamers, but with strong American roots.
Bradley and Matt head into the woods for one last camping trip together before heading off to college. But when accompanied last minute by Matt's girlfriend, Amy, a sexually conflicted and emerging woman; and with direct confrontation from nature itself, the simple trip is transformed into an existential inquiry into the meaning of friendship, sex, love and death.
